Description:

As a member of the Canadian Business Unit, the Supervisor - Crew Cabber, Fracturing Services will report directly to the Supervisor, Fracturing Services. This position is available at our Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat, and Red Deer locations. The Supervisor - Crew Cabber is accountable for the welfare and operational excellence of their crew and equipment maintenance and repair. In this capacity, the Supervisor - Crew Cabber is accountable for preparing for travel to and from lease sites, rigging-in and rigging-out, overseeing operations of pumpers and treating iron, complying with all relevant company policy and regulations related to HS&E (Health, Safety and Environment), promoting teamwork, seeking out opportunities and process to improve job performance, and ensuring all paperwork is current.

General Responsibilities:

• Comply with and enforce, all safety rules and work procedures set forth by Sanjel
• Guarantee treatments are conducted in a safe, conscientious manner and will maintain control of treatments under all circumstances
• Ensure all crew members wear appropriate clothing
• Inform all operators of any specific travel needs and route to location
• Watch the equipment to ensure unsafe conditions do not develop
• Pretest all treating iron to specified pressure indicated by Sanjel programs
• Assist with rig-in
• Ensure all equipment is inspected, properly configured, and meets or exceeds treatment requirements
• Inspect all personnel, equipment, rig-in and final pre-job fluid test and chemical volumes to ensure they meet Sanjel and customer requirements
• Confirm wellness limitations and document it
• Contribute to the organization by developing, coaching and conducting performance management and training of personnel

Qualifications:

• Applicable operational training and experience in Fracturing Services or oilfield services
• Class 1 driver's license
• Crane Operator's certificate
• Certificates in First Aid, H2S Alive, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Hours of Service, Fatigue Management, General Oilfield Driver Improvement, and Heavy Haulers are considered an asset
• Familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
