Description:

As a member of Suretech Completions Canada Ltd., the Tool Service Technician - Grande Prairie will report directly to the District Manager and will be located at our Grande Prairie location.  The primary function of this position is to oversee and install Suretech Completions equipment at customer job sites.

General Responsibilities:

• Providing downhole completion installation services and/or associated services regarding the functioning of the liner system.
• Ensuring the tools and associated equipment are correct for the specific conditions of the wellbore.
• Completing all the appropriate paperwork accurately surrounding the services performed.
• Ensuring all the products & services are delivered to the highest standards of quality.
• Performing additional duties and specific projects as assigned.
• Abide by the policies set forth in Suretech Completions' Safety manuals, wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the job

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of prior oilfield experience.
• Experience in a similar role at a multi-stage fracturing tool company
• Preferred experience  with down hole tool technology
• Completion of high school or equivalent is required with a higher education preferred.
• Knowledge of drilling rig and horizontal drilling principles preferred.
• Proven computer skills and knowledge of industry specific acronyms and tool names
• Experience in accurately reading, understanding and interpreting drawings and layouts complimented by excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior including professionalism and respect
